READY TO ROLL OUT! AND IT’S GREEN!

ALGAESYS are pleased to announce production of the first batch of our newly designed “rotating log” mould components. ALGAESYS had commissioned IMOPLASTIC Group of Marinha Grande, Portugal (https://www.imoplasticgroup.pt/), to fabricate the steel injection mould tool in March. The components create the rotating carrier onto which the algae and other phototrophic organisms adhere, slowly rotating into and out of the bioreactor in alternating dark-light cycles.

ALGAESYS CEO/CTO John Fagan commented: “It is fantastic to see finally the commercial product of the hard work since 2015 come to reality at a reasonable cost.”
